Commission Process: From Vision to Heirloom
Every portrait follows a clear, collaborative process so you always know what happens next—from the first idea to the moment you unbox your framed oil painting.
Step 01 — Consultation & Upload
Share your photos and ideas. Together we define the composition, size, style, and budget, making sure the artwork fits both your story and your space.
Step 02 — Sketch & Composition
Your artist creates initial sketches and composition studies based on your brief. You review and approve this stage, and we only move forward once you’re happy with the direction.
Step 03 — Painting & Preview
We paint your portrait in layers using archival-quality oil paints. When the piece is finished, you receive a high‑resolution preview and can request final fine‑tuning before approval.
Step 04 — Varnish, Frame & Shipping
After drying, your painting is carefully varnished for protection, optionally framed to your preference, then professionally packed and shipped worldwide to your door.
